3.) Dogs and Cats – If you dress your child in solid brown or solid unlit sweatpants and sweatshirts, you can easily turn them into cute dinky puppies and kittens. Simply take face paint (or eyeliner) and, for dogs, draw puppy dog noses and freckles, or even a red tongue coming out of the mouth. For cats, simply draw the kitty nose and add whiskers. If you are feeling extra crafty, you can glue triangles of material onto a cheap headband for ears!
4.) Fairies – If your daughter is a ballerina, or owns a dress-up tutu, chances are she would love to have a homemade fairy costume. Simply slip on that pink leotard and tutu, sprinkle some glitter in her hair, and either buy or get a magic wand. She is sure to love it.
5.) Mummy – This is a very simple homemade Halloween costume. Simply wrap your child’s whole body in white ace bandages or strips of cloth. You can even color some of the material with red markers or lipstick for a more gruesome conclude!
